We are just days away from meeting the new generation of high-end smartphones from the Moto Z family, and rumors are still coming in for long teeth before they show up.
Of the new generation, we already know the Moto Z2 Play, a medium range quite competent and that maintains the compatibility with the MotoMods.
To know everything from the rest of the family will not have to wait many days, but new rumors have come, this time, the Moto Z2 Force.
The first surprise is that, unfortunately, the terminal would come with a smaller battery than its predecessor, and the second is that the phone would also be sold outside the United States.
As for specifications, as was the case with its previous generation, it would be a high range with some characteristics to compete with the rest of manufacturers. We would have a Snapdragon 835 as a processor and a 5.5-inch QHD screen with AMOLED technology and extra resistance.
The Moto Z2 Force would have a smaller battery than its predecessor, but, to everyone’s surprise, it would leave the United States.
As for the RAM, the Chinese and international market would arrive with 6 GB, while in the United States they would have to settle for 4 GB.
The storage would be 128 GB for China and 64 GB for the rest of the world, although it could be expanded with microSD cards up to 2 TB in both cases.
In the photographic section, would be the first of the Moto Z family to join the trend of double cameras with two 12-megapixel sensors, while the front would have a 5-megapixel camera.
The bad news is that the capacity of the battery would be reduced by 22%, going from the 3,500 mAh of last year’s Moto Z Force to 2,730 mph that will be presented in the next few days with the apparent intention of making it thinner.
The main surprise is that the terminal, as we have said, other markets outside the United States will have the opportunity to get the terminal, something quite positive for those who want a high resistance phone as are usually those of this subfamily Force (with Its resistance to water and its “unbreakable” screen).
As we always do in these cases, we recommend caution in judging whether these rumors will become reality or not.
What we hope it does not turn out to be true is that big drop in battery, which would make the Moto Z2 Force a less interesting terminal than several of its competitors.
