More features of the OnePlus 5T before its presentation

Today is the day in which the last high range of the year will be presented. OnePlus will launch in New York the new OnePlus 5T, the vitamin version of the OnePlus 5 presented in the summer of this year, and hours before its presentation, we see its technical sheet filtered again in AnTuTu.

OnePlus is still working to launch a device that can be called the “flagship killer”, and although it has risen in prices, we see that competitors like Samsung, Apple or Google touch the thousand euros, and they take out a terminal with almost the same benefits and for half the price, so you can still deserve that name.

The OnePlus 5 was an almost round terminal, where its most criticized point was its design. He was criticized a lot for being so conservative in choosing almost the same frontal part as with the OnePlus 3, not changing anything from one year to the next.

It was believed that OnePlus could give more and bet on an all-screen design, which finally, will be released to the market at the end of the year.

The data sheet of the OnePlus 5T in AnTuTu that does not

This spec sheet only confirms what we already know. The OnePlus 5T will carry the same processor as its smaller brother, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, and will come out with an 8GB version of RAM and 128GB of storage. We do not rule out that there is another cheaper version of 6 GB of RAM.

The resolution of this terminal confirms that it will be a terminal with 18: 9 format, that is, the one we are seeing on mobile phones such as the LG V30, the Pixel 2 XL or the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. It is FullHD + resolution. It should be noted that the Chinese firm still does not want to get into the fashion of QHD screens, claiming that they worsen the user experience by giving less battery.

Other details to comment is its operating system. No, the new OnePlus 5T will not come with Android Oreo, which means that the OnePlus people will not follow the Project Treble with this mobile, which forces them to update their terminals at a faster rate. We do not know the reason for this, but while the beta of Android Oreo is already available in 5 and 3, it is rare that it does not come with this version.

Will there be a Star Wars version?

In XDA, we have seen that they have found in the APK code of their launcher, a part that highlights a “Star Wars” mode or an appearance like that.

We do not really know what it means, but it could be that the OnePlus 5T came with a version of Star Wars in red celebrating the eighth movie of the Star Wars saga that comes out in December, or maybe it is merely a theme for the launcher. Anyway, it seems that it is a “fake” to see that XDA has erased all the info about it.
