Now the social network has updated its service so that we can download Instagram photos. Keep in mind that the new GDPR privacy law of the European Union is going to take effect from next May 25, 2018, so the Instagram team should be in a hurry to launch this new functionality in iOS and Android devices.
How to download all our Instagram photos and videos
Although this function is not yet enabled through the official Instagram application, we can use our mobile phone or tablet to download our Instagram photos, in addition to the rest of the contents uploaded to the social network.
To do this we must open Chrome and from the Settings, located in the upper right corner of the browser mark the option “Website for computers.” The next step will be to enter the Instagram page and identify with our username and password.
Once we have opened our profile, just need to access this link to start the process download all the photos, videos, comments and stories that we have uploaded to the social network.
Now we just need to wait until Instagram will send us a message with a link within 48 hours so we can download all the content. In this way, the social network prevents users from using third-party applications to download our content, in addition to complying with the new regulations to protect our privacy.
