With the LG G7 about to arrive, the Korean company reviews its current top of the range and gives it new air just before the Mobile World Congress begins.
Launched on February 26, 2017 , almost a year ago that the LG G6 is in the market, a smartphone that became the top of the Korean company at the beginning of last year, and brought news such as the ratio 18: 9 screen, which today has become a standard in the high-end and part of the average.
As a terminal we felt that it had a high-quality screen, a very solvent rear camera and a high degree of protection against dust and water; against the front camera was improbable and we would have loved that it had 4GB of RAM and more internal space.
New models of LG G6 and LG Q6
The LG Q6, released in the middle of July and betting on a design without a G6-type screen within a framework of affordable prices, was a terminal with a huge screen, but it did not stand out in any other section.
Both terminals are news today, the reason? LG’s announcement of three new models of the G6 and Q6, which will now have terminals in three new colors for those who want to choose between more ‘exotic’ tones as they call them.
In this way, we have now that the LG G6 will come in the shades of Pink Raspberry, Violet Lavender, and Moroccan Blue. The Q6 will only have two of those colors, blue and lavender specifically.
In this way, the G6 is available in 8 colors of names as bombastic as the Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet and Raspberry Rose in addition to the original Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White, Terra Gold and Marine Blue. The Q6 is available to those except for the Raspberry Rose.
First in Korea
Given that not only is their market, but also their homeland, these three models of the G6 and the two of the Q6 will come first in South Korea this imminent month of February, followed by “key markets around the world.”
The price of these models has yet to be announced since it will vary according to the market, but there is no date yet when they will arrive (and to which part) to the West.
The funny thing is that this announcement comes less than a month after the G6 celebrates one year in the market, and also that the Mobile World Congress 2018 is being held in Barcelona, the world event that brings together brands and the sector of Mobile Telephony entirely and in which we already know that LG will present the expected LG G7, the successor of the G6 and its top of the range for the beginning of this 2018.
