The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus have been on sale for a relatively short time, but Lenovo is already working on expanding its catalog with a new variant of its most popular mid-range.

Moto G5S: advanced version of the Motorola midrange poses for the camera

Its name is Moto G5S and would be placed above the existing model with a more premium design and slightly more advanced features.

The Moto G5S is still not official, but we can already take a look at what was supposedly its design and in various colors. The terminal maintains a line of design with respect to what we know for the Moto G5, but in this case, ould have a full metal design. In addition, it is expected to be accompanied by a Moto G5S Plus.

The Moto G family will receive two new members soon

One of the changes in the MotoG line under the leadership of Lenovo was to divide the offer into two models, one normal and one Plus. However, at Lenovo they would not stay there and everything indicates that their average range will be extended with two new models.

In addition to the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus, the company would be working on the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus, two versions that will be made of metal in full and not only partially as we saw in the first models. In this case, the screen diagonals would increase, standing at 5.2 and 5.5 inches respectively, both retaining FullHD resolution.

The Moto G5S Plus would benefit from its surname to raise the bet with a component that is very fashionable: the double camera . At the moment there are no more details about its cameras nor the rest of its technical characteristics, but presumably it will have a more complete processor and probably more memory.

The model that has been filtered in the form of images is the Moto G5S, which would be the simpler of the two. The complete metal chassis will be the clearest innovation in design, but there will also be a new model in blue that will add to the gray and gold we already knew.

The terminal maintains the same design for the camera, but in this case it seems to stand out from the chassis as we saw in the Moto G5 Plus. The oval fingerprint reader is also maintained on the front. One striking detail is the integration of what appears to be an LED flash for the front camera.

At the moment there is no arrival date or price for this new range within the MotoG family, but we hope to know more details soon. Do you think it is necessary to launch an S range of the Moto G5?
