Samsung is presenting the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus an improved version of the 360-degree camera, Gear 360.

The Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus are no doubt the stars of today, but apart from the two top smartphones, there is more Samsung news to announce: A fresh version of the Gear 360 comes on the market!

With the camera, you can record 360-degree video and then look at a VR glasses like the Samsung Gear VR.

The revamped camera has an additional handset with integrated controls and allows 360-degree live streaming!

The spherical head with the double lenses measures only about 4.5 centimeters in diameter. The camera weighs 130 grams.

This makes it significantly lighter and easier to transport. The 1.160 mAh battery provides the power needed for the Gear 360, and a microSD card slot for up to 256 GB provides enough storage space.

The two dual fishing eye cameras each have 8.4 megapixels, videos take the Gear 360 in 4K.

The 360-degree camera has the following interfaces: WLAN (b / g / n / a), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and a USB type C connector.

The best moments can be shared directly with the family and the friends via Facebook, thanks to the new Live streaming function.
