When Google launches a new version of Android and updates its own devices is when all the glances pass to other manufacturers, to see which devices update and when.
If a few days ago Sony announced the list of devices is now the turn of Motorola, which through its support page has already confirmed which of its models will receive Android 8 Oreo from the coming months.
The list of Motorola devices that will update to Android 8.0 Oreo in a few months as follows:
- Moto Z2 Force
- Moto Z2 Play
- Moto Z
- Moto Z Play
- Moto Z Force
- Moto G5
- Moto G5 Plus
- Moto G5S Plus
As we see Motorola has only confirmed Android Oreo in a small number of devices, and it is possible that over the months extend the list, for example missing devices launched this year as the Moto E and Moto E Plus and the Moto G4 of the year past.
What is unknown is when Motorola will start to update, but it seems it will be later this year and early 2018. It is possible that they are waiting for Android 8.1 Oreo.
