Alcatel is one of the few manufacturers that have not yet given almost signs of life this year, few rumors have appeared of their future phones.
At the moment they have several lines of movable in the market, being the Idol dedicated to its flagships that, nevertheless, form part of the overloaded average range.
And it is from this family that it seems that we will see a continuation this year, or at least that seems to show the website of GFXBench, where an Alcatel phone, presumed to be Idol 5, has made its appearance.
As usual within this range, the phone would belong to the middle segment.
We would find before a movable of size content when making use of a screen of 5.2 inches and resolution FullHD, Which would give one more option to those who do not want to use phablets.
As for its processor, we would have the well-known Snapdragon 625, an octa-core at 2 GHz, which would be accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, but it is not known if it can be extended with microSD cards.
The cameras would be 12 MP with the capacity to record video in 4K for the rear, while the front would be 8 MP.
The software chosen would be Android 7.1.1 Nougat with its own layer of customization. At the moment, more information about this new smartphone, such as the battery or when it would see the light, is unknown.
We will be alert to new information that may come out to offer it as soon as possible, but if the price goes up, the Alcatel Idol 5 could sell well.
