Will Apple present this month not only new iPads but also new models of the iPhone SE?
An important US dealer at least these days, the current models of the cheapest iPhone from its stock.
Mac Rumors has a statement from the headquarters of the US electronics retailer Target to its stores. These are to send back to Apple various models of the iPhone SE in 16- and 64-GB-variants – especially in the colors gold, silver, rose gold and space gray.
According to the information of the website, at least a target store since the release of the iPhone 7 in September last year did not receive any new copies of iPhone SE more.
The fact that the target stores should return the device to Apple may be an indication that the rumors of an Apple event in March are correct: Supposedly, Apple would like to introduce not only new models of the iPad Pro but also a new iPhone SE.
This is, however, only differ in terms of storage space from its predecessors – the speech is of a model with 128 GB capacity.
The fact that the target stores want to return both the 16- and the 64-GB models could again be an indication that the new versions of the iPhone will offer SE 32 and 128 GB of storage so in the future neither the 16- Nor the 64-GB model.
However, of course, it can not be excluded that the “recall action” has other reasons. Possibly Target is simply not satisfied with the sales figures of the iPhone SE and would like to create space for other devices in its warehouses.
The fact that the sales figures of the actually quite successful iPhone SE since the release of the iPhone 7 massive were broken, however, had not yet been heard. In the next few weeks, we will find out what the rumors are.
