LG has finally revealed the date of the press event for the upcoming LG G6 smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.
The event will take place on February 26 at 12 PM, which clashes with other big press events at the MWC 2017.
We can expect to see the LG G6 unleashed at the event.
This time around, LG is apparently dropping the modular design and going after enhancement in the overall quality of the smartphone. We’re interested in perceiving what they have at the top of the preference list for quality improvement.
LG believes that 2:1 aspect ratio allows more frame for the picture. The company even made the similar claim with the media invite graphics, which states that 18:9 ratio allowed better display of fireworks inside the image.
Even the invite slogan – “See More, Play More” emphasizes on the same thought.
Given that the 2:1 aspect ratio plays well on the 5.7-inch screen of LG G6, we would like to see how LG tackles the bezel region and increment the screen-to-body proportion.
Earlier, LG teased the reliability of battery used on the G6 that packs in heat diffusion piping within. Even in the media invite, LG affirms that the G6 will be subjected to accurate quality tests – well beyond what’s required by the industry benchmarks.
These claims by LG are nothing less than a dig on Samsung’s infamous Note7 that succumbed to discontinuation due to serious battery issues.
