Apple Watch: Fitness Lab continues to operate, Steve Jobs was the inspiration

12 hours a day, six days a week and the lights in Apple fitness laboratories. There Apple employees work under different conditions to test the Apple Watch – drive is obviously Steve Jobs.

Tim Bajarin reported in the Time magazine by visiting Apple’s fitness lab. There, the manufacturer tests the health and sports watch functions, collected before the start of sales over 18,000 hours data records.

About a year ago they opened in Cupertino to ABC News, the doors to the secret facility.

Apple can not be claimed: Even now Apple employees arrive daily with the different physical condition in the laboratory to test the Apple Watch – and to provide data. This detects Apple with the most modern systems, writes Bajarin.

The former CEO, who died of cancer in 2011 was dissatisfied with the US health care system: It lacked mainly a meaningful connection between patients, their health data, and doctors. Apple’s top managers shared this view, writes Bajarin.

The Apple Watch is to give users more health information in the hand – and make them healthier. Even Apple’s software projects HealthKit, ResearchKit, and CareKit pursue this goal.
