Tested by Go4It last autumn, Chuwi Hi8 tablet with two operating systems priced under $100 now has a high-end variant with QHD screen of 12˝ and X5 on 14nm Atom processor.
Better known in Asian markets Chuwi is a manufacturer specializing in tablets with very good price / performance ratio, accessible and European buyers by offering stores that offer international delivery service.
Launched with $299 price, Chuwi Hi12 is a tablet equipped at an ultraportable: 12˝ -resolution 2560×1440 display, 4GB RAM, and 64GB SSD or an Intel Atom Z8300 family X5 Cherry Trail. Created using 14 nm manufacturing process, it has 4 cores at 1.44GHz and integrated GPU.
11000 mAh battery provided with the tablet can be used in the role of a laptop connected to the dock optionally provided with a keyboard and magnetic fastening system.
The equipment list is completed with two cameras, 3MP and 5MP mode Wi-Fi N and Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 and HDMI connectors respectively.
Leaving aside the exterior design elements “borrowed” from another successful series of tablets Chuwi is best known for two operating systems configuration with selectable start device – Windows 10 and Android 5.1 in this case.
